I’m a toolmaker by trade, so metal-smithing is my thing.  However, I have an ambitious project, the plans of which I’d like to share with someone who might help steer me away from the shoals.  The metal work is done, except for rust bluing, cc-hardening and maybe some nitre-bluing. There are some unique features in the metal work, and I’d like to make the stock similarly avant garde–or at least having features that set it apart.  If there’s a stock maker who can look at my drawings and perhaps offer a little guidance, I’d be much obliged.

Send a copy of your drawings.  I’m retired but I will help if I can.   craig@susquehannastockworks.com

Thank you Craig. I just sent a couple of PDFs, an explanation of the design intent, and what I hope to accomplish with this project.
